Super Heroes & Swimming

Recollection of the past few weeks has almost disappeared.  

Thank goodness I took a few photos to jog my memory.

The young women enjoyed a "Super Hero Theme" for New Beginnings on February 24th.

Yep, the leaders went ALL OUT!  

 (Once again, I felt happy to be serving in primary)

 Each girl was a specific super hero and wore a different cape representing the "YW Values".  They participated in various presentations throughout the evening.

 With a December birthday, Anna will be the last to join her Beehive class later this year.  She is already looking forward to having Sis. Cox as her teacher (but Sis. Cox is dating a guy so we'll see...).

 As a capstone to the evening, the girls lit lanterns and filled the sky as a colorful reminder to be a Super Hero as they "Embark in the Service of God" this coming year 2015.

 The kindergarten class celebrated "100 Days of School".

Quinn is now 100 days smarter.

 My jaw dropped when I opened the front door and was given such a beautiful bouquet!

Everybody needs a visiting teacher with such skills.  Sis. Cox (my VT) happens to be a horticulture professor.  To her students, she demonstrated making a bridal bouquet at school that day and didn't want it to 'go to waste' so she stopped by and shared the love with me.  I was thrilled that $100 worth of fresh flowers didn't 'go to waste':).

 With a very small window between the end of the basketball season and the start of soccer games, we took an open Saturday and cruised to Jackson Hole, WY for the afternoon.

 Bob and Janene brought Cameron with his boys, Jagger and Jett along for some fun.

 I've never known a baby to love water as much as Jett (14 mos.) does.  

He floated around on his back for hours with a grin on his face the entire time.

After nearly two years, they came off Monday, March 2.
