Each of these items represent a specific number of festivals completed. Anna received the large bronze Bach bust this spring for performing in her 15th festival. Hooray for Anna!

When former teammate, Cathy Jolly Peterson, reached out to get a group of us together to support Coach Blaisdell's significant honor of being inducted into the Utah Sport's Hall of Fame on April 11 in SLC, I was totally onboard. I haven't seen some of my former teammates in over 20 years!

When you get a group of ladies together that have run countless miles and shared countless conversations during those memorable college days, you better believe we had a lot to say. In fact, we talked and talked and talked and were the last people to leave the banquet hall (even the clean-up crew was done and gone). Had the dinner/program not been in a hotel (Little America), we surely would have been kicked out at some point in time. It was so fun to catch up with these amazing women that I love and admire. After our gathering, I drove to the Murray house to sleep.
The next morning, Mom and I attended a session at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. The warmer weather and beautiful flowers were a real pick-me-up as compared to our lack of spring back home.
Our visit was short but enjoyable as we parted ways. I had a few errands to run before making the drive back home and Mom had real estate responsibilities. It was a nice change of pace for me.

The soccer season is in full swing. We had Jett and Jagger for a day and they joined Aaron for one of Anna's games. The cousins had fun playing despite the cold weather.

Brinley and Jantzen did the honors of hiding everything for our non-traditional "Egg Hunt" on Saturday night. Everyone came away with bags of chips, granola bars, fruit snacks and other goodies to help add some excitement to their home-packed school lunches.
Easter morning. We didn't do very well in the picture department but at least the girls snapped a few before leaving for church. We enjoyed our relaxing Easter Sabbath and attending our meetings before joining Chris & Julia for dinner at their place.

We moved our FHE to Sunday evening's due to Brinley's work schedule. It was play time on the driveway for everyone. Bike riding, roller blading, scooters and rip-stick riding and a little basketball game.

Elsie's 4th grade class had a field trip to the Artitorium on Monday, April 17. I was one of the lucky chaperone's who rode the bus to and from - it was especially nice that Elsie wanted to sit next to me:).

I also joined Quinn's 2nd grade class field trip to the Treehouse Nursery this past week. They are learning a lot about plants and how they grow.

Jantzen is very excited about getting his driving permit next month. He has completed his drivers' ed curriculum and is just waiting to complete his drives. We chose to go the online route this time around and it has been much easier on our family schedule. This kid LOVES to drive and is actually pretty darn good at this stage.
Aaron and Elsie enjoyed dancing, silly games, laughter and food at the Activity Days Luau.
Meanwhile, Anna and I watched most of Jantzen's soccer game in IF before we had to leave for Anna to play her concerto for a judge in IF. She received a perfect score and really nailed her piece.

Wow! The kids are so impressive with their accomplishments. I hope they keep up with their music. I know they will continue to play and love sports. Jantzen looks pretty serious with his driving. Good luck on that front. We had a similar egg? hunt with the Campbells. Lunch favorites with no red dye and low or no sugar is a challenge.
