Quinn Chooses to be Baptized

Quinn reached a significant milestone in his life on Saturday, May 13, 2017 when he chose to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  This sacred ordinance was performed by his father, Aaron Jon with Quinn's G-pa's as witnesses (Robert D. and W. Steven).  Quinn was later confirmed by Aaron with G-pa Bob and G-pa Steve in the circle along with Great G-pa LaVerne and bishopric member, Bro. Weber.  It was a wonderful day for Quinn as he felt the love and support from many family members and friends.

We missed Tanner greatly on this special occasion.
Our youngest child to be baptized!
Quinn became an official member of the Hibbard 2nd Ward in the Henry's Fork Stake.  The stake baptismal service was under the direction of President Hirschi (1st counselor in Stake Presidency).  Following a short talk about baptism and the Holy Ghost by Sister Amy Leatham (Hibbard 3rd Ward) and a musical number (flute/piano duet) "Jesus Once Was A Little Child", each of the children from various wards were accompanied to the baptismal font with their family/friends.

Following the baptismal service at the church, extended family gathered at our house for a light brunch of breakfast casseroles, muffins and fresh fruit bowls.  Everyone relaxed and chatted until the early afternoon.  Then it was time for Breanna to bust out her clothing and camera for a little modeling adventure.  The girls had fun trying on new outfits as part of an online business Breanna has recently started, Lily Lane Clothing.  Our pictures were on her site until Breanna recruited a professional photographer in UT to help out.  Of course, the girls fell in love with their outfits and Aaron decided to be Breanna's first customer:).

Breanna sent me a few of the pictures she took though they were a bit fuzzy.  Brinley's a natural!

The P cousins helped in the modeling department a bit also.
Lillian, Anna, Brinley - cousin talk time
After the modeling session was over, we celebrated Lillian's 13th birthday with cake and ice cream at our house.  We were so busy talking with Bonnie and Bryant that it was dinner time before we realized how late it had gotten.  Anna and Lillian thought eating at PPC would be the perfect way to celebrate Lil's birthday and Quinn's baptism:).  And that's exactly what we did.  Then said our good-byes to the last of visiting family.  It was a very full and fun day.
