Obedient. Faithful. Dedicated.
All of these describe Elder Jordan B.'s service as a full-time missionary in the Tulsa, Oklahoma Mission. We enjoyed reading the emails Erica forwarded to the family and experiencing the joy of missionary service along with him. His personal growth and commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ have been inspiring to many of us. Thanks Jordan!
Tanner, Brinley and Jantzen joined Gma and Gpa M early Friday morning for a drive to the Salt Lake Airport to welcome Elder B. home. After work, Aaron and I loaded up the other children and traveled to stay the night with Gma and Gpa P. Saturday morning included a few errands and a trip to the zoo for the three youngest with Gma and Gpa P.
Meanwhile, Aaron took Tanner and Jantzen to the BYU football game compliments of Bryant, Jameson and Garrett. Brinley spent the day making crafts and caramel-dipped apples with Bonnie, Lillian and Breanna. After a full day of activities, extended family and friends gathered for a yummy southern meal at Erica and Bryan's local church.
Thanks to Bonnie and Bryant for hosting our family along with Bob and Janene. The kids had fun staying up late (too late) watching movies and eating candy after making a quick trip to the store with Breanna behind the wheel. It's still hard for me to believe she has her license! This newfound freedom was not lost on my children who thoroughly enjoyed being chauffeured around by their cousin.
Sunday morning came bright and early as we all milled about getting reading for 9am church where we listened and learned from Jordan's 'speaking assignment'. After packing up the car (once more), we were homeward bound. We always enjoy spending time with family and this weekend provided a great opportunity to see each other again. It was short but sweet (and no pics). Welcome home Jordan!

It was a full weekend as usual. We loved taking the younger three to the zoo. It was a gorgeous day! Thanks.
Love fun weekends like that - but tiring I am sure.
