We drove a different route home from Truckee, CA so we could pick up Brinley at the SL airport en route. She spent nearly three weeks in Thailand doing humanitarian work (June 19 - July 7). While waiting for her at baggage claim area, we watched as a mission president/wife returned home to their grown kids after three years. We noticed they had served in Singapore-Malaysia and quickly put it together that they were Jacob C.'s (Tanner's best friend) mission president/wife. My kids were slightly mortified that I 'stocker-like' snapped a few pics of them and immediately sent them to Jacob's parents, Lisa & Corey.
Welcome back Brinley!
We let Brinley choose where to stop for dinner. She didn't care as long as the menu did NOT include rice and boiled chicken. In-and-Out Burger made the cut (first time for me).

Besides the neat gifts she brought us from Thailand, Brinley had a gift to open when she returned home from her travels. She instantly fell in love with this beautiful graduation quilt made and mailed to her by G-ma P. Thanks again to G-ma for her hard work and talents. It's like a ray of sunshine - just like Brinley!

Elsie did a lot of celebrating. Congrats to her. Everyone is happy to have Brinley home safe and sound. We are so proud of Jantzen's choices to be worthy to be ordained a priest. Way to go, Jantzen. So sorry to have missed that momentous occasion.
