Our baby is growing up!
Elsie summed it up with her observation that "we don't have a toddler in our family anymore".
For many reasons I've had mixed feelings about reaching this milestone - but Quinn is a great one to 'end' with. We all love this little guy so much!

A large crew of Aaron's family drove north to help Bob and Janene with "Spring Cleaning" projects on Saturday. We worked hard and later played hard together.

It was fun to watch my kids interact with their younger cousins - Greta, Jack and Jagger.
Janene giving Stephanie a foot zone. She graduates this month! Congrats to Janene for all of her hard work. She's an awesome zoner.
With the crowd of Matt, Cameron, Kasey & Jagger, Brandon, Stephanie & Jack, Chris, Julia & Greta and G-ma and G-pa M, we all helped Quinn celebrate his 3rd birthday!
Brinley experimented with this cake and it was very moist. Good job Baker Brinley!
Quinn is all about sugar now. Kept him 'pure' as long as possible :)

Today is Quinn's actual birthday so we had him open the rest of his presents but didn't do a repeat on the whole cake thing. Tanner made cookies so we called that good.
Sensing a theme here...
The kids all found things around the house for Quinn to open along with the mitt/t-ball stand from Mom and Dad and a new outfit from G-ma and G-pa P. He thoroughly enjoyed ripping open the paper and feeling like "King for the Day".

Happy Birthday to Quinn! We've had a couple of toddlers around our house in the last few days and it made remember how much work they are. Kids sure do get easier (at least physically easier) the older they get.
We're glad you had a fun birthday, Quinn. You are a delight to your Grandpa & Grandma P. The cake looked good, Brinley. You are getting to be a fine baker. Love you all.
