Technically, I don't know if it's considered a reunion when only two of six siblings are present - so we'll just call it a family gathering. That's what happens when families are spread out all over the globe. However, Mom is determined to do what she can with whomever she can at least once a year. Last Sunday (Father's Day) we drove and met up with G-ma and G-pa P along with Hilary and Adam's clan in Soda Springs, ID. We stayed in a quaint old home that had been semi-updated with a cabin theme - I especially loved the old doorknobs! After dinner and our FHE lesson of Hilary relating ancestor stories and Tanner sharing about his recent visit to the temple in New York City, we made homemade ice cream and stayed up late talking.
The next day we headed to Lava Hot Springs for a little adrenaline rush...

After a full day of swimming and sliding and soaking in the hot pots, we returned to Soda Springs for dinner and relaxing a bit before packing up and heading out. We had to be back for commitments early Tuesday morning.

After this geyser was discovered in 1904, the folks in Yellowstone sent a telegram informing the Soda Springs folks that their discovery was messing with Old Faithful and would they please do something about it. Thereafter, this geyser was set on a timer to release every hour on the hour.

We all had a fabulous time together.

Good times! Those diving platforms are crazy high. You couldn't pay me enough to even make one jump.
Just for the record. The diving platform Adam and I did the triple back flip off of, while waving to our family, was at least 150 feet...maybe even 300 feet! :) Aaron
It was a fun time and a great day at the pools. You got terrific photos of your family having braving the slides, jumps, etc. Great job!
