Brinley was accommodating enough to share her birthday with Matt & Whitney's wedding day.
Here she is opening a few birthday presents in the car en route to the Salt Lake Temple.
Thanks for the awesome robe - G-ma & G-pa P!
A Porter's gift card, an Eiffel Tower necklace and shirt along with some cash from G-ma & G-pa M. She was a happy teen!
We returned from the wedding celebrations on Saturday afternoon and continued with our own celebration. Brinley's birthday tradition is to have Chinese take-out. Once a year - we splurge.
She had a friend party the week before (Dec. 21), went to Jamba Juice with Aaron for her birthday breakfast a few days later (Dec. 23), opened gifts on her actual birthday (Dec. 27) and enjoyed her meal/dessert the day after (Dec. 28).
Brinley selected Marie Callender's Chocolate Satin Pie as her birthday dessert.
Nobody chose the traditional birthday cake route this time around.
This is a time of change as Brinley moves into the MiaMaid class with a brand new Young Women's presidency. She was a wonderful Beehive class president and worked well with her former leaders. They will be greatly missed!
We are so grateful to have Brinley in our family. She continues to craft and create every spare moment she has. Brinley can be so thoughtful and kind to those around her and we appreciate her talents in this arena. Thanks for all you do to help out!
Happy 14th Birthday Brinley! We love you!
