Within days of Tanner coming home, Brinley was packed and ready to move out. Living in the Somerset apartment complex across from campus will definitely be a learning/growing experience. Brin and Haley share an actual bedroom but they are getting acquainted with their four other roommates that have come from other states. Glad Brinley will still bring home her laundry and we look forward to having her join us for Sunday dinners.

The same weekend Brinley was moving into her college apartment, Tanner had his 'opportunity to speak' in sacrament meeting on September 16 at 9am. It was an awesome meeting and I was happy to meet a sister from PA that fed Tanner every week he was in her area. She was bringing her own son out to start college and the timing worked perfectly for her to be able to hear Tanner speak. After the block of meetings, family gathered back at our house for lunch and visiting.

We didn't get pictures with everyone that came (Hilary & Adam's clan, Matt & Whitney's clan, Chris & Julia's clan, Bryant & Bonnie's clan) but sure appreciated the love and support Tanner received from our awesome families.

The next morning, he was off to start a new school year!

We are so pleased that so many were able to come and hear Tanner speak. I am convinced that he was an exceptionally dedicated missionary.
