Stepping Stones for Anna

Anna was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Saturday, January 7, 2012 by her Dad, Aaron.

G-ma and G-pa P made the trek north with Tiffany and Abigail and C. cousins in tow.  Hilary and Adam remained at a hospital in Utah awaiting the all-important signature to make their new family addition official.

 Anna was grateful for Aunt Erica's support along with G-ma and G-pa M.

The absolutely awesome eight of us!

All of the children baptized on this day were girls 

(very unusual in our 'boy heavy' stake).  

Most were Anna's friends from school.  

The primary children in the congregation were invited to come forward and sing "I Am A Child of God" together.  Quinn marched right up there and took his place front and center.

It was a lovely baptismal service and the water was warm:)

Afterwards, we enjoyed a yummy brunch of fresh fruit, breakfast casseroles, and homemade cinnamon rolls. 

The cousins were so happy to be together and everybody enjoyed themselves.

 Anna and Jenna were best buddies and even swapped dresses for the day.

Nothing like a little Just Dance on the Wii to burn a few calories.  All the kids took notice of Aunt Tif's great moves and even G-ma P joined in a bit.

While the adults anxiously awaited the phone call from Hilary and Adam, the kids played chase and used up all kinds of energy.

They may look a bit unkept but they sure had a fantastic time celebrating Anna's special day.
