Tanner is 20!?! Happy 14th Anna!

We sent a birthday package to our favorite missionary and made a quick video of us singing "Happy Birthday" to him.  It was a transfer week so he received a new companion for his birthday - haha!  He really misses serving with Elder Nuttall but Elder Andrews will be good too.  It was a low-key kind of day for this focused missionary.  Happy 20th Tanner!  We love you!

One of the benefits of being an office aide this trimester is the fact that Anna has a longer than usual "lunch" hour.  Since her birthday fell on a Sunday this year, she preferred lunch with Aaron on Friday instead of breakfast on Saturday.  With a newly opened Panda Express in town, it was a no brainer for this (American) chinese-food loving' gal!

 Birthday dinner meal request: white rolls, green salad with Caesar dressing, individual pizzas made with English muffins (something we never do - a random request) and chocolate milk.

Everybody laughed about the English muffin request and even Anna wasn't sure why she made that selection - I think it was for the pepperoni which she enjoyed eating the rest of the week.

Anna wanted everybody to be able to try the various cheesecake flavors and dutifully cut them into bite-sized squares.  Sunday evening also brought with it a neighborhood rush on delivered goodies so it was a sugar-overload kind of night.  Although we didn't get any pictures of Saturday activities, I took her for a pedicure at the local beauty school and she joined Aaron and Jantzen for a late night Star Wars 8 movie.  Her friends threw her a surprise birthday party the following Wednesday when school let out for the holidays.  I don't have pics of that but it went off like a charm and Anna was actually very surprised!
