We know what Quinn was pretending to be...
.But the verdict is still out on what G-pa P was trying to be...
With the busy work/travel plans of G-ma and G-pa P, we were grateful for the quick visit they squeezed in last week. They combined work duty and playtime and we enjoyed having them for a total of 19 hours (and that included sleep-time).
Long live the tradition of reuben sandwiches and hot wassail we devoured!

Anna has become quite interested in fashion/clothing (with no help from her mother) and was thrilled with this addition to her wardrobe.
It won't be long before G-ma is looking up at Brinley!
It's tradition for G-ma to bring Christmas books to share with the children.
Several of us took turns reading the various stories.
The next morning it was cookie-making time.
Lots of participation that came in shifts throughout the day.
Sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies -- lots of them!
