Gotta Love the Spud - Part II

I love that Tanner and Brinley are old enough now to perform a little temple work.  

It's a great experience for them to visit different temples.

St. George Temple

While Aaron, Tanner and Brinley went inside, I took the younger four children to the nearby Visitors' Center to explore for awhile.  We learned more about the construction of the St. George Temple, watched a wonderful film about families and played with other interactive displays.  The kids were pretty excited about receiving their own piece of gypsum (used in the construction process) from one of the missionaries.

Funny how the kids remembered visiting Judd's Store the last time we were in town.  Although I wanted to cringe a bit, we indulged and let each child spend $1.50 on seriously overpriced candy - it didn't buy them much but they were satisfied.

Aaron is such a good sport!  Some day the kiddos will appreciate everything he does with/for them. While they all expended a little energy at Jumpin' Jacks, I checked out the nearby outlets with the purpose of finding new Sunday pants/belt for Tanner and a swimsuit that could do the job for Quinn.  My 'speed-shopping excursion' was successful on both accounts.

It was plenty hot during the day but the novelty of having a hot tub on deck just outside the sliding glass door of the condo we stayed in, was not lost on the kids.  Obviously, night time was preferred because of the cooler temperatures and the kids liked the changing colored lights.

Tuesday evening Aaron and I attended Hairspray at the Tuachan Theatre.  

 The kids watched a movie while we were gone.  Nice having our own 'built-in babysitters'.
