Summer Bucket List

As we took inventory of our summer bucket list, we arranged to squeeze in a few more activities just days before returning to school.

 We literally have to remind ourselves that Aaron's parents own a boat.  Sorry to say this was the first time in years (or ever) that we have taken it out ourselves.  We spent a perfect weather day at a nearby reservoir - just the eight of us.

 Since the water was not exactly warm, the kids 'dared' each other as to who would jump in first.

 Even Elsie braved the cold - but wouldn't let go of Aaron.

It was a spectacular day of family fun.  

Next summer we're going to 'remind' ourselves more often of the boat just hanging out in the barn down the road.
